CCC hosted the fourth annual Rock the Block, an alcohol-free party, Saturday, Sept. 23. The party, which was free to all college students, took place on George Street at the College of Charleston.
The party featured live reggae music, food, sodas, a climbing wall, mechanical bull, prizes, and a chance to meet students from other colleges. Contributors to the evening’s events included Aramark, Barnes & Noble, California Dreaming, Coca-Cola, Coldstone Creamery, the College of Charleston Bookstore and Cougar Activities Board, Palmetto Lowcountry Behavioral Health, Stella Nova, The Citadel Gift Shop, The Citadel Semper Fidelis Society, and Urban Nirvana.
Plans are currently underway for the 2007 party.
